Nadia Palliser (NL)

Nadia Palliser thinks and writes about electronic art, design and media. She studied art history in Amsterdam, graduating with the thesis 'An Amplification of Aesthetics - an electrified impulse to the romantic observer'. After working for V2_'s archive, she began teaching media theory and design history at the Willem de Kooning academy in Rotterdam. At the moment she is working to get the ISEA archive online. First staged in 1988, the International Symposium on Electronic Art continues to activate a growing interdisciplinary terrain of art, technology and design. By developing this online resource and connecting with other archives, she hopes to help keep media history and the history of electronic art relevant today. Next to this project, she also teaches 'media ecology' at the Design academy in Eindhoven.
